The 6th Grade is the start to your middle school years and will set the tone for the rest of your educational career here at Vista. It is important to get a good start, ask questions when you have them, and ask for help when you need it; and all of us here at Vista are here to help you.

Every day your child's homework for our English and History class will be posted on their Google Classroom page. They have access to this anywhere they are, as long as they have internet access. Google classroom also has a phone application that you can download. Your child also received a Daily Agenda book at the start of the school year. It is to provide students a space to write down their homework daily, you can ask to check this as well.
Another way to be a part of your child's middle school journey is by keeping an eye on PowerSchool. This site will show you grades, attendance, and let you know of any missing assignments. The start and journey through middle school is a vital one and if we work together - it can be a GREAT and successful time for your child.
